IRWIN Car and Equipment Names Bud Wotring Director of Mining Distribution and New Business Development

Irwin, PA, January 20, 2012 – Irwin Car and Equipment, a 120 year-old manufacturer of custom, heavy-duty rail-based and rubber-tired material handling equipment, has named Bud Wotring as director of mining distribution and new business development. He will be responsible for increasing the underground mining sector's demand for Irwin's replacement parts, expanding its geographic market presence and building a national distribution network. Wotring will also use his experience in sales and engineering to spearhead innovative development and uses of replacement parts for a variety of mining applications working with both distributors and mines. Prior to joining Irwin, Wotring served in a variety of sales management and engineering positions in the mining industry. Wotring holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from West Virginia University.
